The Magic Starship Project

Here is the Magic Starship Bundle, a Project that took me a year of hard work to integrate the 194 samples that I programmed using sounds that I created in the past with various synths.

I integrated a good number of ideas in the Korg Wavestate, different technologies and multiversal scenes, hacking and messing up the entire spectrum of possibilities to test its behaivour.

As the architecture of this synth is capable of handling quite a good number of variables, I decided to follow my instinct and move on step beyond. In the Magic Starship bundle You shall find a good number of

samples, more than 190, for a total of more than 600 MB of samples. As I usually create fully implemented Performances, this project, compared to standard ones, as I only follow the concept

of "Fully Implemented Performance Tetrasound Programming", required an incredible number of hours to reach its birth, due to the multiple passages needed to produce the expected results.

I created samples in multiple ways and allowed indetermination to move the quiantized brain o the machine towards open spaces. This is what the seeker is supposed to do, transforming and transmuting the instrument itself; according to

its own needs. For example, I allowed micro fine tune discrepancies to be handled by the the Wavestate engine to test how it would react to such a kind of wave seed. I created samples using third party software and machines,

and uploaded the finished samples directly to the Sample Builder software ( that is still lacking a professional touch, look, functions and inter operability), and discovered the magic o a new starship. Today I managed to complete this project,

1 Apr 2024 and I am glad to present it to You. Dimensionally speaking, four additional flavors are present: Pada, Sam, Sound and Tera, plus the Korg one. Multi Layering, Fine Merging, Spatial Integration, a few programming secret tricks,

transformations and transmutations of my own, shall offer You new perspectives, depth, understanding and Quasi Organic Transients to work with. I developed scenes, panoramas, aimed to add colours to the Wavestate romplers.

This project was an experimental one, and as I was looking for new sound dimensions, I did not give to much importance to the rhythmic patterns, but rather to the texture, pads, spheres, atmos, spiritual, metaphysical and movie style soundtrack

style creation. I avoided noises, futile plastic sounds, and where I investigated the random generation of waveforms and found the aleatory calculus precise enough to open up new spaces, I added those stochastic transients

to merge into the moving scenes allowing them to become transformative, hypnotic and alchemycal at once. This is Revision 10 of the Magic Starship bundle, so everything should be fine. I shall keep working on this bundle if needed, in any case.

I shall keep this project on the go and allow You to interact with it, express Your opinions, thoughts, neeeds and point of view. As usual I shall correct eventual mistakes present. New sounds shall be added to the standard bundle as soon as

I create a dozen of them, and shall be present in the future Revisions of the bundle. Feedback is welcome. Feel free to suggest and share Your own ideas, opinions and wishes.

If You are using the Native Plugin, address plenty of ram to Your DAW, use a professional soundcard, a multiple aftertouch controller and a lot of patience to learn about the secrets of this wonderful synth.

The Magic Starship Project is mainly aimed to composers, creatives and musicians willing to experiment, look for new dimensions and find a unique sound, distinctive and taylored to the shape of their own composition.

I believe that Wavestate is a unique tool capable of signing plenty of future soundtracks. Along with a good number of developements on the way. From the point o view of regular innovation, its architecture offers

to diversified programming the possibility to go beyond the limits of the software itself, the machine and the mind set of the programmers, following the concept of the 4 dimensional platform, turned into a transient

generator and quasi organic synth. Mistery, marvel and beauty, hidden in plain view into sounds that shall carry You away. Time Crystals as I call them.
